In the event of a Direct Debit not being paid on a due date we reserve the right to charge interest at a rate not exceeding the rate of interest charged under your current agreement, on all sums overdue. We may charge interest from the due date of payment until the payment is received in cleared funds. If we charge interest this will be calculated on a daily basis, and will be payable on demand. If we decide to charge interest, we will inform you in writing with all the relevant details.

Missing or Late Payments

Missing or late payments could have severe consequences, such as, we may cancel your insurance and it may make obtaining credit from Balens Ltd more difficult in the future. If a repayment of an instalment is unpaid we will aim to recollect this instalment after 20 days, this means that the following month you may be paying two instalments in one month.

Early Settlement

Should you wish to settle your account early then you will need to contact us for the relevant figures. The administration charge for this is €13.00.

You have the right to cancel the Direct Debit at any time; however, we recommend that you contact us before doing this to ensure that this does not affect your insurance.
